Who we are
A branch of the Church of Pentecost Worldwide, headquartered in Accra, Ghana, with a growing presence across Zimbabwe.
The Church of Pentecost Zimbabwe started as a Home Bible Study group at Chongotera, Seke in 1996, before officially opening at Warren Park, Harare in 1997. Since then we have grown steadily into a vibrant community of believers.
Today the church has 23 local churches in Harare, Chitungwiza, Marondera, Rusape, Mutare, Chipinge, Bulawayo, and Masvingo. CoP Zimbabwe is a self-propagating and self-sustaining church with 9 indigenous Ministers, registered with the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ).
Our purpose
We exist to establish responsible and self-sustaining churches filled with committed, spirit-filled Christians of character, who will impact their communities. Our church believes in the principle of Self-Propagation, Self-Financing, and Self-Governing.
To become a global Pentecostal church that is culturally relevant in vibrant evangelism, church planting, discipleship and holistic ministry.
